Step 1: Order Your Photo Quilt Blocks

You are going to need nine 5×5 photo blocks.

You can order them individually here from Photo Quilt Blocks.

You can order a fat quarter of 5×5 blocks here which is an amazing value!

With the fat quarter, you get 12 blocks. If you keep scrolling you will see other patterns to use the extra blocks!

Step 2: Make your 5×5 Star Blocks

You will need to make 9 of these blocks for this lap-size quilt!

Cut your photo block to 5.5×5.5 inches.

You are going to make four flying geese at once by following the below directions!

Sizes shown in the block are finished sizes. Make sure to follow the cutting directions in the words on the right!

Now that your flying geese are assembled, you are going to put all your pieces together!

3. Cut Out Your Quilt Pieces

4. Assemble Your Quilt

Follow the below diagram to assemble your quilt.

You can then quilt and bind as usual!

You are going to need four 3×3 photo blocks.

Step 2: Make your 3×3 Star Blocks

You will need to make 4 of these blocks for this mini quilt!

Cut your photo block to 3.5×3.5 inches. When you order, we automatically add the 1/4 inch seam allowances, so you will order the 3×3 blocks!

You are going to make four flying geese at once by following the below directions!

Make sure to follow the size cutting directions on the right!

Next we are going to assemble our flying geese!
