When you are making a Photo Quilt, very rarely are we using one photo. So Photo Quilt Blocks has made it easy for you to order photos in bulk, which makes it more affordable for you and more efficient for us!
Printing photos in bulk is so easy with a Fat Quarter Bundle from Photo Quilt Blocks. You can easily choose the size of block you want and add your photos to a Fat Quarter Layout. If you are ordering 5×5 inch finished blocks, you can get 12 photos in a Fat Quarter Bundle. If you are ordering 4×4 inch finished blocks, you can get 20 photos in a Fat Quarter bundle. The reason we have a fat quarter bundle is that our press is a fat quarter in size. Our interfacing is a fat quarter in size. A fat quarter is something that a quilter can visualize! Once you add your photos to our fat quarter layout in the shop, we add the 1/4 inch seam allowance, we fuse the sheerweight interfacing on the photo for you, and ship it right to your door ready to cut and sew.
Read on for more information about our Photo Quilt Blocks. But in case you are ready to learn how to print our photos on a fat quarter of fabric, here is the video:

Are the seam allowances included in the size listed for the Photo Quilt Blocks?
The size that you see listed in the description are the FINISHED BLOCK size. The seam allowances will be added to the outside of the photo. So if you choose a 6×6 block, your photo will be 6×6 and the seam allowances will be added to it for a total block size of 6 1/2 x 6 1/2. This also means that none of your photos goes into the seam allowances. When purchasing a fat quarter of photos, you will see 1/2 inches between all the photos so you will still have your 1/4 inch seam allowance for each photo.

Why Should You Choose Photo Quilt Blocks for Your Printing Service
With so many printing services out there to choose from, why should you choose Photo Quilt Blocks?
Photo Quilt Blocks was started by Lori McCroskey. Lori has been in the business of sublimation printing for five years marketing t-shirts, mugs, and hand crafted items at craft fairs, in an Etsy store, and at a little boutique in Ozark, Missouri called Little Bluebird Vintage Boutique. One day, Lori said to herself, “Why am I trying to guess what everyone wants printed when I should be printing for MY PEOPLE?” From there the idea was born!
Lori started looking for a web designer that had an interface that could be set up just for quilters. With all the seam allowances and subtleties that only sewists and quilters know, she launched what she feels like will be a huge service to the quilting community. While sewists and quilters typically want to DIY everything, there is a large population that just wants to enjoy the art of creating a photo quilt, gift, or project without the expense and learning curve of printing photos on fabric themselves.
Here is how it looks when you are ordering one photo block:
Lastly, Lori found in her research that there was a big hole for inspiration and creativity in the Photo Quilt Market. Her goal is to think outside of the box and create a whole new inspirational category of photo quilts, photo gifts that are sewn, and scrapbooking with fabric. So make sure to follow Photo Quilt Blocks on social media to be a part of this ground breaking creative journey!
